Greetings to Everyone,

I hope you are having a pleasant January. I am staying in from the cold and have been cleansing my home the last week or so. Seems brushing away all the cobwebs really does make the dreary month of January seem much more pleasant... I certainly recommend it. Happy Birthday to those who celebrated another year passed this month... there are certainly a lot of you and what better way to lift your spirits! Last weekend I spent some time reading for close friends and had the most wonderful experience when I drew the card of new employment for one whom had just received a job offer that day and had kept it to themselves. Well, she is very lucky in a time like this and regardless as I sat watching the inaugeration of Barack Obama today, I felt a new phase is truly upon us all and even without the start of a new presidency in the States we all have the power to turn our lives around. The ninth year of this new century is leading us towards the end of another decade and is the final step in our new journey in the year of the noughties. As I heard this afternoon on the BBC News with the Lords Prayer, 'deliver us from evil' which really struck me and made me listen. As a deeply spiritual person this statement connected with me in this time of financial turmoil with close friends and family and I felt this was truly a message that things are only going to be looking up. Take a look into the future and know that there are so many opportunities awaiting us all, all undiscovered and part of our destiny. I have faith that we are over the worst and although there are still a few rocky paths ahead, we are able to deal with anything we are faced with now. Love connections, financial freedom and our inner soul and spirit are healing and are only going to grow back stronger.

Tarot Card Interpretations from the Major Arcana: 0 The Fool

During this series of articles I shall be using my personal deck to interpret the Tarot deck. They meanings relate to most decks and so you can apply them to your readings. The Tarot deck I am using is called The Classic Tarot by Della Rocca.

The Tarot deck has two sections; The Major Arcana of 22 Cards plus a further four suits of 14 cards altogether comprising of 78 cards in total. The Fool is taken from the Major Arcana.

The unnumbered card of The Fool is impulsive, can be blind to situations and is inclined to dive into things without thinking. However on the flip side, he represents a great time of new beginnings and a renewed childlike approach to the world again. He is the eternal optimist and when something is just around the corner you are worried about it is a great idea to go full speed ahead and worry about any minor problems when they happen. Opportunities only come around once in a while!

Remember to keep readdressing the situation you are in and keeping as much a level head as possible. With The Fool in your realm you probably won't listen to what anyone else has to say anyway! In terms of love make sure your not being led along the garden path, but as the Fool you are out for the experience and live life to the full...action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action.

Overall when The Fool appears in a reading know you could be on the verge of a grand new adventure. Maybe you are hoping to sell your home soon, wish to fall in love, start a new career, pass those exams, travel or whatever you have in your mind for the future. The world is your oyster but also be aware that Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. With this card in your personal Tarot spread know that something is going to make a very important impact on your life that if you choose to pursue will take you further along the path to your destiny.

The Fool will give you the breath of fresh air you so need in your life so you can leave behind the stale and stagnant lifestyle... it will give you the courage to step up and be heard again.

A Christmas Message To Everyone!

Well the days are really counting down now... there has been a flurry of activity and already it is Sunday! But... by Wednesday Evening we shall be relaxing and sitting back waiting for it all to begin. I still have a few cards and homemade chocolates to deliver and I will be hitting the shops tomorrow... early... for last minute stocking fillers and just to be in the full Christmas mode! I say this whilst surrounded by many fairy lights and candles all burning at 11:30am... well... I don't want to waste the opportunity to light up this Christmas!

For me being born a Christmas Eve baby I will be celebrating my birthday during that evening but please note I will be around all over Christmas for readings as mentioned in my previous email. I feel this time of year is particulary special, magical and has such a strong, positive connection with the Spirit world. It will truly be a pleasure to receive a reading during this time and even a hello email so keep in touch!

Story about an Oriental Tarot Card Reader: Living with the Mother-In-Law

An old Oriental story tells of a woman who despaired of her mother-in-law, a crochety old battleaxe with whom she now had to share her home with. Unable to quietly perform Tarot Readings and constantly being called for service, she began to feel her place of sanctuary and peace was invaded.

Full of hate and inner feelings of aggression towards her she visited a local wise woman who brewed poison in order to kill the mother-in-law. She took it home full of uplifting feelings that she will now be able to remove her from her home once and for all. The poison was in the form of an oitment. The old wise woman said it had to be massaged into her mother-in-laws skin once a day for three months. After the three months have passed... she will be dead.

In great delight the lady wandered home with the oitment and immediately suggested she would give her mother-in-law a massage. A whole month went by... then one day she fled to the old wise woman once again sobbing and begging for an antidote. "Please i've realised that I don't want her to die." But the wise woman smiled and said "you already have the cure because the potion I gave you was in fact harmless. From massaging your mother-in-law everyday you have grown closer and now love her. She has also become grateful to you for your kind ways. You cannot massage someone and continue to hate them".

A wise old tale that opens our eyes to the influence of massage, bonding and love.

Tilly Tarot - Professional Tarot Card Reader, freelance writer, aspiring author.

As this is my first posting I thought I would write a little about myself. I have been reading Tarot Cards for over twenty years for friends and family. As a regenerated person from following my Spirit Guide and advice from the cards I have come through life’s experiences to now perform readings to help enlighten others. With an online store I have set up a permanent spiritual premises where I can perform personal readings by email and live online. In the past I have lived in Spain, Holland and now live on the coast of Kent in a little seaside town called Deal in England. With my experience of Native American Studies at Canterbury Christ Church University and Cultural Studies I felt a great call to follow a similar spiritual path. To glimpse into the future is truly a wonderful and rewarding experience that is like nothing I have ever experienced before. As a writer I thrive on the subject of Tarot and hope you enjoy the articles I have written for the World Tarot Annual of 2009. I am also to be featured in the December issue of High Spirit Magazine out 7th November.
